WEEKLY FERAL WEATHER REPORT: WELCOME TO HELL
OKLAHOMA — Well, y'all, Satan just called and asked what in tarnation is going on in Oklahoma this week because, apparently, we're making Hell look pretty bad. His marketing team has officially filed a complaint claiming that we have copied their entire business model and "brand".
We kid, but take a step outside and tell us we're wrong.
This week seems like it's going to be pretty stressful on all of our HVAC systems. So, if your A/C unit has been acting a little sus lately, now is a good time to get it looked at before it decides to retire in the middle of a 100-degree afternoon. Don't say we didn't warn you.
This week, we're looking at temperatures in the upper 90's to around 100 degrees from today through Thursday. And if you're the optimistic type thinking you'll finally get some relief once the sun goes down... bless your heart. Night time temps are only expected to drop into the upper 70's, so don't expect much of a cool down after dark.
As for Friday, it's going to be hot as well with temps in the low 90's that will stick around throughout the weekend. So, we'll get a teeny tiny bit of relief... just not the kind we were really hoping for.
So folks, make sure to stay extra hydrated, drink some electrolytes and wear your sunscreen. Make sure your pets are cool as well with plenty of water and shade. Hopefully next week will be a little better, but don't count on it.
