OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (TUC) — This week, our Unsolved Oklahoma series, narrated by The Untold Chronicle, takes us back almost 40 years ago to a case that has left many unanswered questions for decades.

In 1987, what should have been a night of fun at the Oklahoma State Fair ended tragically when two young women were murdered.

So this week, we are going back to the beginning, walking through what happened, what investigators uncovered, and the questions that have followed this case for all these years.

YUKON, OKLA (TUC) — This week, we'll be releasing the very first episode in our Unsolved Oklahoma series that is actually narrated by The Untold Chronicle. Yes, you read that right.

Our first case that is officially told in one of our own voices takes a closer look at the unsolved murder of Megan Ashley Henson. We'll walk through the timeline, the known facts, and the questions that still remain, all with one goal in mind: keeping Megan's story alive and reminding people that she, her family, and everyone who loved her still deserve answers and justice.

CLAYTON – We happened to stumble across Jeffrey's story while listening to a completely unrelated YouTube video, and it immediately caught our attention. And even though more than two decades have passed, Jeffrey's story still matters, and we don't think he should ever be forgotten.

So today, we are going to take a moment to honor Jeffrey's life, help remember the person he was, and continue praying that one day his family finally gets the answers they have been searching for and deserve.

OKLAHOMA CITY — With the passage of time, some deaths eventually fade from the news headlines, and the world seems to keep moving forward for everyone else. But for the family and friends that are left behind, life never returns back to normal. The grief never leaves and eventually, you just learn how to better carry it.

For Vernon's loved ones, this is one of those stories.

Over the past several weeks, we've spent time speaking with someone who knew Vernon Lee Jarvis-Carter very well. And we know how difficult it is to revisit memories like these, and that's a trust we will never take lightly. We are so grateful to the people who loved Vernon for trusting us with their memories and believing we would tell his story with the care and respect it deserves. And by sharing his story, we hope they know they don't have to carry that grief alone.

BETHANY – Before we jump into Part Two, we just want to say we're doing our very best to present the most accurate information that we possibly can. This case has a lot of moving parts, a lot of reports, and a ton of information to sort through. So that being said, if we accidentally miss something or get a detail wrong, please let us know. As you'll soon learn, this case is very complex. To this day there are still so many unanswered questions and most importantly, justice has not been served for Carina and her family. In our opinion, that justice is long overdue.

BETHANY — Carina Brianne Saunders is more than an unsolved case or a headline. She was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, and a friend. Sadly, her life was cut too short. She was only 19 years old when she was murdered in 2011.

But this story isn't just about what tragically happened to Carina. More importantly, it's about remembering who she was as a person and honoring her life. So, as always, we're going to start with a little background so you can get to know who Carina was.

ANADARKO, OK — This horrific case takes us back to 2009 and involves the murder of the community's beloved pastor Reverend Carol Daniels. This is a haunting and deeply disturbing case. We will be discussing graphic details throughout. Reader discretion is strongly advised.

And because official records are very limited due to the nature of this case still being officially unsolved, we had to rely on historical news coverage, archived reports, podcasts, and other publicly available sources to piece together the details.

ANADARKO — This case was a little hard to research due to the very limited public sources available, but we did the best we could because her story deserves to be shared and her family deserves justice.

We relied on publicly available information from platforms such as podcasts, YouTube videos, and several other sources for this one. Our goal is not just to talk about Martha's mysterious disappearance, but to remind people of who Martha was and help keep her beautiful memory alive.

EL RENO — For this week's Remembering Our Sisters, we wanted to share the story of a woman whose disappearance has become one of the most well-known MMIW cases in Oklahoma. Her case not only drew attention across the entire country, but it also helped bring about changes in Oklahoma legislation through the passage of Ida's Law.

Our goal isn't just to talk about what happened to Ida. It's to honor who she was and share her story in hopes that maybe, somewhere out there, someone remembers something that could possibly help bring her home.

RED OAK – As we were driving this morning, we decided to listen to a podcast about the disappearance of the Jamison family. This is one of those cases that has always fascinated us because of just how bizarre the entire story is. The deeper you dig into this case, the stranger it seems to get.

And if you're familiar with this case, you've probably heard all the theories going around by now. People have speculated about everything from foul play to cult involvement, mental health issues, drug usage, and even the paranormal. But despite all the theories, one thing still remains the same: nobody knows for sure what happened.

So, we're going to talk about this case because we want to hear from y'all. As always, let's start with a little background for those who may not be familiar with it.

ANADARKO — We took a moment to visit the site where Worthy Temple Church once stood, as well as the place where Carol Daniels spent her final moments on this earth. As you can probably tell, this is one story we haven't been able to shake. It remains on our minds and in our hearts.

Walking up to the site, a sense of heaviness settled in almost immediately. And as our team sat there and paid our respects for a few minutes, it was hard not to feel the weight of the tragedy that occurred there many years ago. Though the site has changed over the years, its significance still remains.

And even today, this place stands as a reminder of Reverend Carol Daniels, her faith, her service, and the impact she had on the community.

ANADARKO — This week we're covering the case of Diane Gail Minton Shenold for our Unsolved Caddo County series. More than 35 years have passed since Diane was killed, and her case remains unsolved to this day. Even after all this time, her children deserve answers, and Diane deserves justice.

Today, we remember Diane and honor her memory. That being said, let's start with a little background first so you can know who Diane was as a person.

According to Find A Grave and other publicly available sources, Diane was born on November 9th, 1953, in Nowata, Oklahoma, to Helen and Rube Minton. A few years later, her family reportedly moved to Stillwater, where she attended and graduated from Stillwater High School. After high school, Diane attended Oklahoma State University and later earned her degree. We're unsure of the exact timeline here, but it has been reported that Diane later married Lance Shenold, and the couple had two children together. Reports also indicate that the marriage later ended in divorce.

ADA – This week for Remembering Our Sisters, we are sharing the story of Britney Michelle Tiger. Sadly, Britney's case remains cold to this day, and we are sharing her story not only to honor her memory, but also in hopes that someone may have information that could maybe finally help bring answers to her family.

From what we learned while researching Britney's story, it's clear that she was loved by many. Britney Michelle Tiger was a loving mother of three and was only 26 years old when she was found deceased. Her siblings described her as someone with a "heart of gold." They said she could be a firecracker when she needed to be, but she was also incredibly genuine and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to someone in need. And for real, that's the best kind of person. Someone who isn't afraid to speak their mind and stand up for themselves, but who will also give you the shirt off their back if you need it.

Today, we're going to break down the official autopsy report for Noah Presgrove, citing the report directly and translating the medical terminology into plain English to make it easier to understand.

Our intent isn't to steer opinions or sensationalize the report. We're simply here to help readers better understand the medical terminology and bring awareness to what the autopsy actually documents. Today, we're stepping outside of Caddo County because there's another Oklahoma case that has stayed with us ever since it happened and continues to weigh heavy on our hearts. Every time we happen to drive through Stephens County, we pass those signs by the side of the road asking, "What happened to Noah?" And every time, they always stop us in our tracks. Because to us, they're more than just signs along the highway. They're a constant reminder that a family is still out there waiting for answers, waiting for justice for their beloved Noah.
