HEAVENLY SIPS LEMONADE: TURNING FAITH, FAMILY, AND A SIMPLE DRIVEWAY DREAM INTO SOMETHING SPECIAL
CHICKASHA, OKLA. (TUC) — There’s just something beautiful about getting to learn the stories behind local small businesses across Oklahoma and seeing the passion, faith, sacrifice, and heart people pour into what they do every single day. We truly love being able to spotlight the people who make Oklahoma what it is.
What started as a small lemonade stand in a driveway to help raise money for a Disney trip for their daughter has now grown into something much bigger for the family behind Heavenly Sips Lemonade.
Located in Chickasha, Heavenly Sips Lemonade is a veteran-owned and Christian-based fresh squeezed lemonade stand that’s becoming known not just for its lemonade, but for the meaning behind it. Every drink is made with love, faith, and intention.
The family says this was never supposed to turn into a full business at first. In the beginning, it was simply about making memories with their daughter and raising money for a dream trip to Disney. But somewhere along the way, that little stand in the driveway became something they realized they truly loved doing together.
Now, every cup they hand out includes a Bible verse in hopes that maybe, just maybe, it reaches the right person at the right time. They say some of the most meaningful moments have come from customers opening up about how a simple scripture on a lemonade cup showed up during a difficult season in their life.
“The fact that we get to spread the word of God,” they shared. “You never know who really needed that Bible verse on our cup.”
Running the business hasn’t always been easy. Between working events, packing supplies, planning everything behind the scenes, keeping up with home life, chasing after a toddler who loves to explore, and preparing for another baby on the way, they admit there are definitely exhausting days. But they say the bigger purpose behind it all is what keeps them pushing forward.
Their message to the community is simple: “Philippians 4:13 — I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
As Heavenly Sips continues to grow, they’re now hoping to take the next step by raising money for a food trailer. They say having a trailer would help them manage Oklahoma weather, serve larger events more comfortably, and expand their menu while continuing to grow their dream as a family.
For those wanting to support Heavenly Sips Lemonade and help them continue growing, the family has launched a GoFundMe to help purchase a food trailer and continue building what started as one small lemonade stand in a driveway. We will link this in the comments below.
Because sometimes the smallest dreams end up becoming something far bigger than anyone ever imagined.
