BREAKING: POLICE SEARCHING FOR DEADLY HIT-AND-RUN DRIVER

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (TUC) — We have some sad news coming out of Northwest Oklahoma City this morning.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded around 2:00 a.m. to a report of a woman who had been struck by a vehicle while riding a scooter. The crash happened near Northwest Expressway and North Meridian Avenue.

Tragically, the woman died from her injuries. Police say the driver fled the scene before officers arrived.

At this time, investigators have not released the make, model, or color of the suspect vehicle. The identities of both the victim and the driver have also not been released.

Police are still searching for the driver responsible for the deadly hit-and-run. Anyone with information that could help investigators is encouraged to contact the Oklahoma City Police Department.
