HOMES DAMAGED, TREES UPROOTED AFTER OVERNIGHT STORMS
EL RENO — Sadly, last night's storms left behind some pretty bad damage in parts of El Reno.
According to multiple reports online, the area that appears to have been hit the hardest is a neighborhood that's located northwest of Reformatory Road and Route 66. Photos and reports coming out of the area show uprooted trees, torn fences, debris everywhere, and even badly damaged homes.
From what we've gathered so far, Canadian County was under a tornado warning during the storms. However, the National Weather Service is still conducting damage surveys this morning to determine whether a tornado touched down in the area.
And from everything being reported so far across Oklahoma, El Reno seems to be one of the communities that was hit the hardest from last night's severe weather.
Our hearts go out to everyone dealing with the aftermath this morning. These storms can change lives in a matter of minutes, but if there's one thing we've learned about Oklahomans, it's that we show up for each other when times get tough.
We're thinking of all of you this morning.
If you're in the area, check in below and let us know how things look where you're at. Feel free to share your photos in the comments.
