PSA: POWER OUTAGES REPORTED IN CHICKASHA

CHICKASHA, OKLA. (TUC) — For our friends over in Chickasha, just a heads-up that there are currently power outages being reported across parts of town. So, if your electric service is through PSO and you’re currently without power, the estimated restoration time is around 9:00 p.m. as of now.

That being said, y’all try to stay cool over there and keep that refrigerator and freezer closed as much as possible. And if you had plans to cook dinner tonight, it might be time to start thinking about a Plan B.

Pizza Hut and Domino’s are probably about to be poppin’ tonight. But then again, if they are out of power as well, you might want to consider sandwiches. Something that does not require electricity just in case.

Residents are also reporting that several stoplights along Fourth St. are currently out. If you come across an intersection where the traffic lights aren’t working, slow down, pay attention and treat it like a four-way stop. Give yourself a little extra time and watch out for the other drivers around you.
