BREAKING NEWS: 20-YEAR-OLD RECOVERED FROM LAKE ARCADIA, RUSHED TO HOSPITAL

EDMOND — We have sad breaking news coming out of Edmond this evening.

The Edmond Police Department says officers responded alongside the Edmond Fire Department to a call for service around 6:00 p.m. today involving a person who was reportedly drowning at Lake Arcadia.

According to police, a dive team was deployed and located a 20-year-old man under the water. When they pulled him from the lake, he was unconscious and not breathing. First responders immediately began lifesaving efforts before transporting him to a local hospital.

We are really hoping and praying for a miracle in this one. Please keep this young man, his family, his friends, and all of the first responders who fought hard to save his life in your prayers tonight.

As of now, there have been no further updates on his condition, and his identity has not yet been released. We'll continue keeping an eye on this one and will update y'all if we learn anything more.
