BREAKING NEWS: HAPPENING NOW — FATALITY CRASH ON I-35 NEAR 19TH ST. IN MOORE

MOORE, OKLA. (TUC) — This is the second wreck we’ve reported on today involving a motorcyclist, and sadly, this one ended tragically.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is currently on scene in the northbound lanes of the I-35 near 19th St. in Moore, where troopers are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle and a semi-trailer.

Sadly, authorities have confirmed that this wreck did involve a fatality. At this time, information surrounding exactly what happened is still limited as the investigation remains active, and no identities have been released as of now.

Right now, the inside northbound lane is blocked off and traffic is backing up pretty heavily in the area. So, if you’re planning on traveling this route, please consider taking another way if you can. And as always, if you do have to travel through the area, please slow down, stay alert, and give first responders plenty of room to work.

And y’all, this is just another heartbreaking reminder to be mindful when you’re out on the roads. Things can happen in a matter of seconds, and sadly, someone’s family is going to receive news today that no family ever wants to hear.
