OCPD ARE INVESTIGATING WHAT MAY HAVE BEEN A MURDER-SUICIDE IN SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY

OKLAHOMA CITY — We are just now learning of a heartbreaking tragedy that unfolded yesterday morning in southwest Oklahoma City in what police believe may have been a murder-suicide.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers were dispatched around 10:00 a.m. yesterday to a home near Southwest 4th St. and South Czech Hall Rd. When they arrived, they found two people deceased inside the residence. Authorities have officially identified them as 62-year-old Deanna Hudson and her husband, 64-year-old Bruce Hudson.

And based on the information released by investigators, Bruce Hudson is believed to have shot his wife before taking his own life.

At this time, detectives are still working to determine what led up to this tragic incident. Anyone who may have information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Oklahoma City Police Department's tip line at (405) 297-1200.

Our hearts go out to everyone who knew and loved Deanna and Bruce. Tragedies like this leave families, friends, and loved ones searching for answers while trying to process unimaginable loss.
