OKC WOMAN SHOT IN NECK DURING DOMESTIC DISPUTE, MALE SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (TUC) — This morning, authorities responded to an apartment complex near Northwest 104th St. and Council Rd. after receiving a call regarding a woman who had been shot during a domestic dispute.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, the incident reportedly began with two people fighting over a gun when the firearm went off, striking the woman in the neck.

The woman was transported to a local hospital. Her identity and current condition have not been released at this time.

A male suspect was taken into custody following the shooting. His identity has also not yet been released.
