Definition: An unofficial unit of measurement used to describe temps so ridiculously hot that regular degrees just aren’t dramatic enough.

Example: “The forecast says 102°, but it feels more like 147 hellsius.”

Synonyms: Surface of the sun. Satan’s thermostat. Devil degrees. Oklahoma summer.
